Delete your HOHA account

You can delete your HOHA account and personal data at any time. Here's how — in the app, or by request if you no longer have it installed.

Delete from the app (fastest)

  1. Open HOHA and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account → Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and content are removed.

Request deletion without the app

Email [privacy@hoha.app] with the subject “Delete my account”, and include your registered phone number and @handle so we can verify it's you.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, @handle, avatar, bio, and birth year.
  • Your circle and institutions.
  • Your messages and call history stored by HOHA.
  • Your contact hashes and device push tokens.

What we may retain

Limited records required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes — for example, abuse reports you were involved in — are kept only as long as necessary and then deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

Requests are processed within [30] days. Some backups may take additional time to cycle out.
